About the Role
This role operates as a strategic partner to executive client groups, translating business strategy into impactful workforce and organisational initiatives. You will help shape the transformation of the People, Performance & Capability function into a progressive and agile-aligned team.
Responsibilities
- Develop workforce plans aligned to business needs, strengthen succession planning for critical roles and identify emerging talent risks through data and insights.
- Proactively identify, diagnose and solve organisational design challenges in partnership with the business.
- Lead structural design and restructures from business case through to implementation and stabilisation, applying effective change management frameworks.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leaders, translating business strategy into meaningful PP&C initiatives.
- Co-design and deliver leadership content, coach leaders on team effectiveness and partner with subject matter experts to define leadership success profiles.
- Lead and mentor People, Performance & Capability Consultants, supporting workload capacity, quality of delivery and career progression.
- Provide oversight of employee and industrial relations trends within your client group, supporting leaders and navigating complex matters.
- Leverage modern tools, data and evidence-based frameworks to identify opportunities and drive real organisational value.
Requirements
- Experience operating as a strategic partner to the C-Suite within a complex, multi-site or distributed organisation.
- Strong expertise in strategic workforce planning, succession planning and talent strategy.
- Practical experience leading organisational design, structural changes and end-to-end change management.
- A hypothesis-led, data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data to diagnose performance constraints and build compelling business cases.
- Experience leading, developing and coaching direct reports or consulting teams.
- A strong foundation in employee and industrial relations fundamentals.
- Familiarity with agile principles, including backlog prioritisation and iterative delivery.
