About the Role

Crowe's Audit IT Assurance group offers two alignments: Accounting/CPA-track or Technical. The Technical track is for candidates with more technical majors, while the Accounting/CPA-track is for those pursuing accounting/CPA-track and technical majors. This role allows interaction with client leadership, understanding IT environments, and ensuring controls operate correctly. You will help transform audit processes using technology, learn industry standards, and make compliance recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and performance of assessment fieldwork and review of evidence to support the conclusions of the client’s IT environment
  • Assistance in the preparation of client deliverables
  • Advising clients on changes to their operating and IT environment
  • Maintaining relationships with key client personnel
  • Consulting with management of large organizations

Requirements

  • We are seeking college seniors or grad students, pursuing degrees in one of the following preferred majors (or similar): Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, Information Systems Auditing and Control, Management/Computer Information Systems, Informatics
  • A focus on IT auditing, security, and/or specific technologies would be beneficial but is not required
  • Have strong academic credentials
  • Pursuing CPA-eligibility (150 credit hours) by graduation
  • Be willing to travel
  • Have a desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, self-study, and pursuit of accounting and audit certifications
  • Be capable of independently managing time and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences, such as company officers (CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs) and Audit Committees
  • We are seeking college seniors or grad students, pursuing degrees in one of the following preferred majors (or similar): Cybersecurity, Management/Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Auditing and Control, Computer Programming and Technology – concentration in Networking
  • Be willing to travel - Our team travels mostly around the continental US (international travel possible)
  • Have a desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, self-study, pursuit of certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM), and mentoring/training less experienced team members
  • Be capable of independently managing time and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be eager to develop strong technical skills for technologies and applications our clients use
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships
  • Have ability to work both independently and in a team environment
