About the Role

As an intern in Crowe’s Audit and Assurance practice, you will gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You will receive guidance and work closely with experienced audit professionals, and have exposure to issues shaping and affecting the profession today. You will sharpen your analytical skills as you audit client financials, transactions and internal control processes, working independently and collaborating with a diverse group of talented audit professionals to deliver exceptional audit client service delivery. You will use advanced audit tools and technologies to analyze client data and provide an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
  • Work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals.
  • Use audit tools and technologies that use advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
  • Work as a team member on diverse client engagements.
  • Work on benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.

Requirements

  • Must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
  • Prior to starting full-time, new hires must fulfill the education-related eligibility criteria to obtain a CPA license in their assigned Crowe work location.
  • Proficient with Excel.
  • Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs).
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels.
  • Desire to travel.
  • Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed (Saturday and/or Sunday).

  • Act ethically and with integrity at all times.
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
