About the Role
IcyBox is seeking a 3D Designer to visually represent products and unboxing experiences through 3D modeling, animation, and motion design, transforming concepts into polished, animated visuals.
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality hard-surface models of watches, boxes, and packaging details.
- Animate objects using strong animation principles in both 2D and 3D.
- Manage UV unwrapping, texturing, and ensuring correct texture rendering.
- Set up studio and environmental lighting for clean product renders.
- Build animations in Rive, linking timelines and using triggers.
- Create and animate vector objects for app and marketing use.
- Perform basic photo editing and retouching in Photoshop for marketing assets.
Requirements
- Strong hard-surface modeling skills in Blender.
- Solid animation fundamentals, comfortable in both 2D and 3D.
- Practical knowledge of UV unwrapping and texturing.
- Working knowledge of lighting setups (studio and environmental) in a 3D pipeline.
- Comfort with Rive's timeline/trigger system and vector creation.
- Basic Photoshop proficiency for photo editing and touch-ups.
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating hard-surface modeling and animation work.
