About the Role

Join the RGF Acceleration Team within Staffing Solutions to develop "Noa," our next-generation AI recruiter, leveraging Indeed’s AI expertise to transform the global staffing industry. Your work will automate and enhance end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and interviewing to candidate matching. You will partner closely with the Lead Product Manager to architect and build the robust backend infrastructure powering AI agents and the recruitment ecosystem, owning the entire development lifecycle with full autonomy.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain features and services supporting core business workflows.
Contribute to the evolution of existing systems and prototype/deliver new capabilities.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions to maintain quality, reliability, and clarity.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Identify and implement performance and scalability improvements.
Share knowledge and provide guidance to teammates.
Communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience.
Experience building or contributing to large-scale or distributed systems.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core computer science fundamentals.
Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and enjoyment of solving complex technical problems.
Experience: 5+ years developing production cloud services and ML-integrated applications.
Full-lifecycle ownership and experience running LLM applications at scale in production are strong pluses.
Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
Candidates must not have an active formal PIP or written warning.
Candidates must have been in their current role for at least 6 months.
