About the Role
VML is seeking a Senior Copywriter, a next-level conceptual thinker and writer who knows all when it comes to creating work that demands attention across all platforms. We are looking for a storyteller who can craft a compelling narrative in a deck, in a meeting and in the work itself. You are fascinated by human behavior and dig deep for insights. You are curious by nature and never stop asking questions.
Responsibilities
- Create interactive concepts and campaigns.
- Develop keen concepts that exceed client objectives and expectations while engaging others.
- Capture brand voice in interactive marketing materials including site copy, emails and banner ads.
- Be the voice for your team.
- Manage several projects/campaigns at a time.
- Oversee conception and writing all forms of online advertising, social marketing, and email.
- Partner with the art directors for the timely development and execution of campaigns and projects, including the conception and execution of final deliverables.
- Concept big ideas and innovative tactics that can span a range of platforms, including digital, mobile, social, CRM, and broadcast.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an agency setting
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, a sharp voice and versatility
- Solid experience with writing and presentation tools
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Patience and readiness to address feedback from creatives, strategists, account leads and client-side stakeholders at many stages of content development.
- A strong work ethic
