About the Role
This role involves conducting quality reviews of newly built homes from a customer's perspective to identify defects in workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency, and professionalism. Each review typically takes 1 to 1.5 hours to complete and is focused on evaluating the quality of the finished construction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality reviews of newly built homes from a customer's perspective.
- Identify defects in workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency, and professionalism.
- Drive to construction sites and conduct quality reviews on scheduled days.
- Submit reports electronically on site upon completion of review, no later than 5 PM.
- Enter review results online using your own tablet while on the job site.
- Utilize provided training for entering Quality Review Reports in the report database.
Requirements
- Must have a cellular-enabled tablet (2020 model or newer).
- Must possess blue painter's tape.
- Must have a hard hat to be worn on job sites.
- Must have access to email in the field via tablet or phone.
- Must be able to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi.
- Must have experience working with a mobile device and be able to solve minor technical issues.
- Must be able to drive to sites around the area.
- Must be available 4-5 days a week, Monday through Friday, for partial or full days.
- Must provide days off to the scheduler a week or more in advance (except in emergencies).

Experience Level
- Residential construction experience preferred but not required
- General Contractor/Superintendent/Project Manager background preferred
- Experience with punch list writing or general QC/QA principles preferred
- Home Renovation or Remodeling experience preferred
- Experience with fit and finish reviews or warranty walk-throughs preferred
Salary/Compensations
- Paid per review completed.
- Pay rate ranges from $75-$90 per new review.
- Introductory period (30-60 days) pay is $65-$75 per review.
- A $10/house raise is applied after the introductory period.
