About the Role

The Co-Manager assists the Store Manager in leading operational execution to ensure exceptional customer experiences and drive profitable sales growth. They drive personal sales by demonstrating and coaching La Senza selling behaviors to create a high-performance selling culture and achieve store sales goals, representing the brand through their actions.

Responsibilities

  • Support Store Manager in creating a store environment focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and demonstrating company selling behaviors.
  • Coach and develop associates on company selling behaviors as part of the sales leadership team.
  • Manage and resolve customer relations issues.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Support the talent management lifecycle of Sales Associates, including assessment, training, retention, career development, succession planning, and recognition.
  • Lead and delegate the execution of company initiatives.
  • Promote a positive work environment and effectively resolve associate relations issues.
  • Support the physical inventory process and strategies to reduce shrink.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, including damages, transfers, and compliance items.
  • Ensure compelling visual merchandising strategies and presentation standards are achieved and maintained, including identifying and executing sell-down strategies.
  • Analyze business performance and create/communicate action plans to optimize results and operational execution.
  • Support the Store Manager in creating weekly schedules, managing payroll budget, and controllable expenses.
  • Ensure efficient replenishment processes and maintain a full sales floor with all styles, colors, and sizes represented.
  • Support and reinforce activities related to providing a safe working environment.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of the store.
  • Lead with professionalism and behaviors guided by company values.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of retail supervisory or management experience, clothing preferred.
  • Ability to foster an environment of exceptional customer service and optimize the Company selling model.
  • Ability to effectively delegate, follow up, and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to assess talent, coach, develop, and manage performance.
  • Business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Schedule flexibility to include evenings, weekends, and non-business hours.
  • Ability to manage complex and competing priorities through time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor that reinforces brand and company standards.
