About the Role

Support the development and delivery of projects and organisational initiatives across the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans.
  • Create and maintain documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to support compliance with the ODPP’s project management methodology.
  • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
  • Assist the Solicitor’s Executive to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues.
  • Provide high-quality secretariat and administrative support, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing agendas, papers and minutes.

Requirements

  • Project experience in a high-volume legal or other professional environment.
  • Advanced analytical, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with a variety of individuals and agencies.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach to delivering quality outcomes.

  • Cover letter must clearly and directly respond to the two targeted questions.
  • Consent to a Criminal History Record Check.
