About the Role

The People Growth Partner supports rapid expansion by combining New Restaurant Manager training with HR business partner support. This role leads HR and operational training, supports new store launches, reinforces brand standards, manages frontline HR processes, and helps each location open strong and operate consistently, compliantly, and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate manager training, train-the-trainer programs, new store opening support, operational transitions, and targeted support for underperforming locations.
  • Support program readiness through training, food safety certification, systems training, manager readiness assessments, and follow-up coaching.
  • Coach managers on Systems, process and program best practice for areas of responsibility successfully managing traffic to the qualified subject matter expert and most appropriate resource for operational execution in big-box retail setting.
  • Identify training gaps and partner with People, IBIC training facilitators and Operations leaders to improve materials, SOPs, job aids, onboarding tools, retention, and scalability.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations, manager questions, and frontline people concerns.
  • Provides HR support across onboarding/offboarding, HRIS accuracy, required training completion, and compliance tracking, employee relations, compliance, talent development, performance management, HR operations, workforce reporting, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Partner with Payroll and Benefits on employee inquiries, audits, corrections, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with field leadership to align training and people practices with business priorities, performance goals, brand standards, and travel-based support needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, Training, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, employee relations, training, field operations, or people operations.
  • Experience in QSR, fast casual, retail, foodservice, high-volume hospitality, or multi-unit field environments.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, documentation, and employee relations processes.
  • Experience facilitating training, coaching adult learners, supporting onboarding, developing training materials and resources and coaching leaders.
  • Ability to train diverse teams while handling sensitive HR matters with discretion.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interested in program optimization and continuous improvement to deliver just in time training and efficient opening process that add to the human experience.
  • Comfortable with some travel to support special projects, training, employee relations, and field priorities.
  • Experience in rapid growth, startup, franchise, or multi-state environments.
  • Experience building training programs, SOPs, job aids, onboarding processes, or scalable learning systems.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Oracle HCM, or similar systems.
  • Food safety certification or experience supporting certification and recertification programs.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, training certification, or similar credential.
  • Payroll, benefits, leave administration, or workers’ compensation support experience.
