About the Role
Security Level 5 is an AI security nonprofit dedicated to defending frontier models against nation-state threats. This role involves designing and building the first datacenter purpose-built to the Security Level 5 standard, a critical challenge in AI security engineering.
Responsibilities
- Owning the recruiting process and refining it.
- Sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing offers.
- Translating fuzzy hiring needs into clear role definitions and scorecards.
- Serving as the initial point of contact for candidates, explaining the mission and representing the organization.
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical or research hiring at a startup or fast-growing organization.
- Ability to own an entire recruiting function and rebuild processes from the ground up.
- Sufficient technical expertise to effectively screen candidates.
- Capability to operate autonomously while maintaining team synchronization.
- A strong commitment to the mission of ensuring AI develops safely.
