About the Role
Security Level 5 is building the first datacenter purpose-built to the SL5 standard, designed to defend frontier AI labs against nation-state attackers. This role is crucial for establishing and growing partnerships within the US government and national security community to support this mission.
Responsibilities
- Tend to and grow USG and NatSec Partnerships & Network
- Create custom whitepapers for USG partners and consult on their specific needs
- Undertake regular trips to DC or live in DC to meet partners in person
- Run custom conferences and workshops to educate and engage USG specialist groups
- Facilitate connections between Bay Area and DC SL5 Experts
- Advise on SL5 team’s overall strategy & communications
- Assist the CEO during technical briefing trips to DC
Requirements
- Possess a large pre-existing network of earned-trust relationships in DC, especially among the current NatSec community, WH, House & Senate Armed Forces / Select Committee on Intelligence
- Have a strong understanding of the defacto processes, staffing, and structure of key USG & IC institutions, including Government Procurement Processes
- Excellent written and verbal policy and technical communication skills
- Maintain a bipartisan/neutral affiliation
- Demonstrate interest in or prior knowledge of Datacenter Security, basics of AI / ML, and government Standards around Datacenter Security

- $180,000 - $280,000 USD per year
