About the Role

The Consulting Senior Manager will be a key member of Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA), driving tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa’s network clients. The role involves selling, developing, and delivering high-impact projects for Visa Canada’s FI partners, addressing challenges in areas such as profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee consulting activities and deliver high-quality consultancy engagements in the North American region.
  • Build and nurture fruitful business relationships between Visa and its key clients.
  • Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in strategic and planning discussions.
  • Lead advisory engagements and manage teams in project execution.
  • Provide career mentorship to team members.
  • Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations to address impactful opportunities and challenges.
  • Partner with peers in other functional areas and global regional teams to execute projects.
  • Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance and provide strategic guidance.
  • Share knowledge, coach, and train across functional teams and/or regions as a subject matter expert.
  • Build scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate and business strategy / management consulting roles.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects and expertise in consulting methodologies.
  • Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, managerial, and collaboration capabilities, especially in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and vision, proactive self-starter.
  • Substantial problem-solving ability with a strategic focus on impacting ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Ability to work with large data sets to synthesize key impacts for clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual capable of handling numerous projects concurrently.
  • Ability to identify key strategic issues and generate creative solutions.
  • Understanding of banking / payments P&L and profitability drivers.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with senior executives.
  • Prior experience working with Canadian banks and financial institutions is a plus.
  • Technology/Digitally-savvy with an understanding of consumer economics/behavior, trends, and applications.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • High levels of integrity and business ethics.
