About the Role
The Manager, Media Operations role ensures the smooth functioning of daily media operations, bridging media planning, ad tech, and campaign execution. This position manages workflows from setup through trafficking, budget tracking, pacing, and reconciliation, requiring a strong understanding of compliance within the financial services media landscape.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of digital and traditional media campaigns, coordinating assets, specs, and timelines with internal teams and external partners.
- Standardize workflows for consistent and efficient campaign execution.
- Partner with ad operations, media, and marketing science teams on trafficking, taxonomy, naming conventions, and pixel/tag setup.
- Monitor live campaigns and conduct quality checks to ensure accurate setup, measurement, and delivery.
- Collaborate with planning, investment, finance, and marketing science teams to manage media budgets, track pacing and actuals, and govern budget revisions.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
- Maintain clean data, validate spend, and produce clear, accurate reports for client and internal audiences.
- Uphold client billing and audit procedures, brand safety standards, and data privacy requirements.
- Ensure data, technology, and platform usage comply with financial services regulatory standards.
- Maintain playbooks, operating procedures, and workflow documentation.
- Support onboarding and training on tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-6 years of experience in media operations, agency operations, or media coordination.
- Prior financial services client experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of compliance within highly regulated environments, specifically data, technology, and platform governance for financial services clients.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with media operations platforms (e.g., Google Campaign Manager, Mediaocean suite, Adobe).
- Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and lookups) and proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines.
- Clear, thoughtful communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated.
