About the Role

As an intern in Crowe's Audit and Assurance practice, you will gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You will receive guidance, work closely with experienced audit professionals, and gain exposure to issues shaping the profession.

Responsibilities

  • Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
  • Work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Use audit tools and technologies that employ advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
  • Work as a team member on diverse client engagements across various industries.
  • Participate in benefit plan audits (401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans).

Requirements

  • Must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
  • Prior to starting full-time, new hires must fulfill education-related eligibility criteria for a CPA license in their assigned Crowe work location.
  • Proficient with Excel.
  • Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels.
  • Desire to travel.
