About the Role

You will report to the Head of Accounting and be responsible for the creation and updating of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring the proper mapping and documentation of intercompany transactions, and supporting the preparation of national income tax returns.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and updating of transfer pricing documentation (Local File, Master File) and contribution to the further development of the global transfer pricing framework and internal guidelines.
  • Ensuring the proper mapping and documentation of intercompany transactions (e.g., reseller agreements, Cost+ contracts).
  • Analysis and implementation of results from tax audits, including derivation and implementation of necessary process and guideline adjustments in the area of cross-border issues.
  • Coordination of the timely preparation of foreign tax returns and ensuring compliance with all relevant reporting and documentation obligations.
  • Support in the preparation of national income tax returns and in the calculation of current and deferred taxes.
  • Planning and participation in projects for the digital further development of the tax function and tax-relevant processes.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree, preferably in business administration or law, or a comparable qualification.
  • A passed tax advisor examination is desirable, but not absolutely necessary.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in an auditing firm or in the tax department of an internationally operating group.
  • Sound knowledge of national and international tax law and ideally in the area of transfer pricing and intercompany business.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a structured, independent way of working.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for this position.
