Responsibilities

• Understand, design, and develop new functions in Wayne payment products and integrations with third-party payment products.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Complete individual assignments within each Scrum sprint with minimal supervision.
• Assist in triaging customer-reported field issues in collaboration with Dover New Product Support and Help Desk teams.
• Apply good judgment to meet tight schedules while maintaining superior quality.
• Perform design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with payment team members to ensure project success and champion high quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages.
• 5+ years of software development experience within Windows environments.
• C# and .NET Core coding experience using Visual Studio IDE.
• Strong object-oriented and multi-threading programming skills.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns.
• Team player and self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic understanding of software security and cryptography, including digital signing, secure hash functions, encryption, and OpenSSL.
• Familiarity with hardware devices (card readers, contactless readers, receipt printers, embedded terminal displays, etc.), including assembly and configuration for simulation and testing.
