About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive on the Financial Services team, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and renewals. You will act as a "hunter" to identify, prioritize, and close new business, with typical deal sizes ranging from $50K to $500K annually. You will also "farm" and manage 8-14 Braze customer accounts, serving as a trusted commercial and strategic advisor to help them grow and scale their businesses. Join a diverse, dynamic team working with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives to forge human connections between consumers and brands.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to renewals
  • Act as a relentless "hunter" to identify, prioritize, reach out, and close new business
  • Manage 8-14 Braze customer accounts alongside the Customer Success team
  • Operate as a trusted commercial and strategic advisor to customers

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of New Business sales experience selling SaaS solutions with technically integrated products
  • Excel at generating and managing your own pipeline
  • Think strategically and creatively about driving desired outcomes through effective and persistent outreach
  • Demonstrate consultative and human selling, with strong storytelling and listening skills
  • Exhibit value-first conversation mechanics, including discovery, understanding business pain, desired outcomes, and differentiated value
  • Be analytical and data-driven, grounding your approach in examples and testing/iterating
  • Understand and make sense of complex systems and concepts
  • Help buyers navigate large SaaS investments, mobilize global organizations, and accelerate cycles
  • Identify and influence key people among many stakeholders
  • Be comfortable learning new things and navigating high-change environments
