About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive on our Financial Services team, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to renewals. You'll be working as a relentless “hunter” to identify, prioritize, reach out, and ultimately close new business. Typical deal size ranges from $50K to $500K annually. You will also be responsible for “farming” and managing 8-14 Braze customer accounts alongside our Customer Success team, operating as a trusted commercial and strategic advisor as they look to Braze to grow and scale their businesses. Join a diverse, dynamic, and tight-knit team that’s working directly with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives and their teams to help them forge human connections between consumers and the brands they love. Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to renewals.
- Identify, prioritize, reach out, and close new business as a hunter.
- Manage 8-14 Braze customer accounts alongside the Customer Success team.
- Act as a trusted commercial and strategic advisor to customers.
- Work with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives and their teams.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of New Business sales experience selling SaaS solutions with technically integrated products.
- Ability to generate and manage your own pipeline.
- Strategic and creative thinking to drive outcomes through persistent outreach.
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts.
- Consultative and human selling approach.
- Ability to conduct value-first conversations, including discovery, understanding business pain, desired outcomes, and differentiated value.
- Analytical and data-driven approach, grounded in examples and iterative testing.
- Desire to understand and make sense of complex systems and concepts.
- Ability to help buyers navigate large SaaS investments, mobilize global organizations, and accelerate cycles.
- Ability to identify and influence key people among many stakeholders.
- Comfortable learning new things and navigating high-change environments.
- Bonus: experience selling to or working for Financial Services.
- Bonus: experience selling to Growth/Marketing teams, or background in analytics, CRM, marketing automation, data storage/agility, or content marketing solutions.
