About the Role
This role involves performing laboratory tests, quality control, and clerical duties. The individual will also perform phlebotomy and interact with patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Performs laboratory tests relevant to assigned sections, including quality control testing.
- Performs clerical and computer-related activities.
- Performs phlebotomy with supervision dependent on experience and training.
- Interacts with patients of all ages.
Requirements
- One year full-time or equivalent hospital experience including phlebotomy.
- Significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity.
- Medium to heavy physical effort, potentially exerting up to 35 lbs. force.
- Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.
