About the Role
We are seeking a creative problem solver with experience in finance and consulting to join our Finance Transformation team. As a Manager, you will analyze financial data, develop strategies, and present findings to clients, working closely with consultants and clients to ensure timely and within-budget project completion. You will help clients optimize their finance functions by providing business advisory services focused on operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with other consultants and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team with engagement leadership to enhance the effectiveness of the finance and operations function.
- Provide business advisory services to achieve measurable benefits in operational efficiency and strategic decision making.
- Utilize knowledge and experience to provide innovative solutions to clients and produce insightful thought leadership.
- Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency and ensuring high quality on projects and internal initiatives.
- Lead teams (or parts of teams) on projects, anticipating and identifying risks and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen client relationships as a trusted business advisor.
- Identify potential business opportunities for EY.
- Help to create a positive learning culture and actively coach and counsel junior team members.
- Lead the delivery of Finance Transformation engagements, advising clients on internal finance strategy, operating models, and financial processes.
- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking budget and communicating issues to project leaders.
- Participate in business development initiatives (POVs, Proposals, NextWave Sessions, among others).
- Build strong internal relationships within Consulting and across other services.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor staff members.
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.
- Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Finance Transformation professionals.
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills and knowledge.
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong academic record including a bachelor's degree.
- Approximately a minimum of 7 years’ experience in industry or with a recognized consulting firm.
- Experience in delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support.
- Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
- Travel may be required for this role.
