About the Role

The Burger's Priest is seeking a General Manager for its Danforth, Toronto location. This role offers a positive and self-expressive work environment, focusing on serious burger quality and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the team to provide "ABSOLUTE" service.
• Set clear expectations and follow up with the team regularly.
• Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team.
• Open and close the restaurant independently as a key holder.
• Reconcile cash deposits.
• Place orders and perform inventory counts.
• Address customer concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Attract, interview, hire employees, and build a strong team.
• Understand food costing.
• Accurately schedule employees while achieving labor targets.
• Manage P&L results.

Requirements

• Minimum two to three years of experience leading a team.
• Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Passionate about food and providing excellent guest experiences.
• Food Handler Certified or willing to certify.
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently.
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-organized with the ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment.
