Responsibilities
- Support employees with day-to-day tech issues via email, chat, or in person.
- Handle new hire onboarding, including hardware and software setup.
- Manage hardware and software lifecycles from procurement to decommissioning.
- Identify and implement improvements to daily IT tasks using scripts or better processes.
- Create clear, easy-to-follow how-to guides for user self-service.
- Maintain macOS and Windows computers, conference room technology, and basic office networks.
- Enforce security best practices, including MFA and device protection.
- Manage mobile devices using MDM tools for updates and security.
- Support and troubleshoot modern collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Okta, and Zoom.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting macOS and Windows environments.
- Experience with hardware, software, and A/V conference room technology.
- Proven background in managing full IT lifecycles, including user onboarding/offboarding and asset management.
- Applied knowledge of fundamental networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience managing mobile device lifecycles using MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf).
- Commitment to IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, phishing awareness, MFA, and data privacy.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting modern collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Okta, and Zoom.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-touch IT support to a diverse user base.
- Ability to create clear, accessible knowledge base articles.
