About the Role

As a Maintenance Electrical Technician I, you will be part of a team crafting transformers & power supplies destined for military and industrial products. You will perform electrical troubleshooting and repair, routine maintenance, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, cross-functional, safety-focused, and capable of working independently and as a team to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and conditions
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and improvement projects
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
Help with plowing, shoveling, mowing, and building crates
Start and stop heating and air conditioning units
Work independently

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of electricity and power distribution
Mechanical skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods
Ability to use hands and arms to handle, feel, reach
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Valid NYS Driver License
