About the Role
ACV is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Order Management Systems platform, ensuring accurate and reliable order flow from capture through financial settlement. This role powers internal tools and event streams critical to the business, impacting revenue recognition, operational throughput, and data confidence.
Responsibilities
- Own the OMS platform end to end, including the financial aggregation layer feeding NetSuite settlement and accounting, internal order management tools, and event producers.
- Act as the connective tissue between Engineering, Finance, Internal Operations, and downstream product teams.
- Partner with engineering and Finance to define accurate, auditable settlement, reconciliation, and revenue recognition flows aligned with financial close timing.
- Partner with engineering to define dependable event schemas, delivery guarantees, and integration contracts.
- Define and own platform SLAs for order throughput, event delivery latency, settlement accuracy, and reconciliation completeness.
- Employ a hypothesis-driven approach to internal ops tooling investments, validating assumptions through structured rollouts, user feedback, and operational metrics.
- Ensure data quality and reliability across the transactional layer, including idempotency, reconciliation, event replay, and recovery.
- Translate complex transactional flows into actionable insights for product prioritization and unblocking internal customers.
- Improve operational throughput and reduce manual work for ops teammates by identifying and prioritizing high-leverage workflow improvements.
- Guide product strategy by evaluating and communicating trade-offs between system complexity, time-to-market, and risk.
- Set and defend the 6–12 month roadmap across Order Management, ERP/Settlement integration, and Event Orchestration.
- Act as the domain authority for order-to-settlement across teams, making key architecture and sequencing decisions.
- Articulate and advocate for platform strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes to executive leadership.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Product Management experience, ideally including platform, financial systems, or order management product areas.
- Demonstrated ownership of a product line or multiteam domain with strategic setting capabilities.
- Evidence of org-level influence, such as leading a 0-to-1 initiative or a major platform re-architecture.
- Experience owning order management, financial settlement, or transactional platform product areas, including ERP integration (NetSuite a plus), event-driven architectures, and internal operations tooling.
- Strong understanding of transactional system hygiene (idempotency, reconciliation, event delivery semantics, data lineage).
- Demonstrated success in implementing automation or system improvements that reduce manual ops effort, accelerate financial close, or improve event reliability.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end delivery of complex, technical platform products, driving measurable business impact.
- Ability to drive product strategy by translating complex transactional and financial flows into actionable insights.
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL, structured rollout and validation design, and platform metrics architecture.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and non-engineering internal customers (Finance, Operations).
- Agile experience and release planning prioritization skills.
- Presentation skills to simplify complex systems and financial flows for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven mentorship of other PMs, with formal or dotted-line people leadership a plus.
