About the Role
MUFG Investor Services IT team is seeking a talented Application Support Analyst to support banking applications. This role involves delivering internal operations and support, interacting with external vendors, and managing a portfolio of applications. The analyst will bridge the gap between business teams and the IT solutions group.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 Incident & Problem Management support by working with vendors and/or Internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU.
- Coordinate with vendor and/or Support teams for various technical deliverables including Customization Deliveries, Patch sets, fixes.
- Document IT user procedures in Confluence around IT Change Management & business user procedures while effectively supporting user training.
- Support Project Managers in ongoing initiatives related to the Core Banking Solutions.
- Interact with vendors of financial systems about technical issues and the coordination of enhancements.
- Participate in new platform releases, as well as testing activities to confirm system changes, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring they meet quality standards before deployment.
- Coordinate development and enhancement of the platforms to increase automation and expand the utilization of features.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and total ownership of issues to complete resolution through internal coordination between distinct IT functions and groups.
- Respond to requirements from regulators and auditors to provide appropriate support for information requests.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a team responsible for providing analytical, technical support and administration of business banking applications.
- Exposure and understanding of SWIFT products and messaging standards, ISO 20022, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Java and .Net applications.
- Working knowledge of applications, systems, and application architecture.
- Strong working knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards.
- Exposure and understanding of Application/Database infrastructure setup and management.
- An understanding of banking environment to bridge business requirements and IT solutions.
