About the Role
The Field Support Specialist will support processes and systems related to customer servicing and sales/service staff support. This role provides administrative and analytical support, developing analytical and reporting capabilities to offer insights into key trends and performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Process customer and internal orders in Oracle, validating order details, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Create, maintain, and update customer quotations and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Manage customer account data, ensuring records remain accurate and current.
- Coordinate inventory replenishment and maintain appropriate stock levels to support operational requirements.
- Manage inventory optimization initiatives by developing and maintaining min/max stocking parameters that align with business demand, service expectations, and financial targets.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
- Monitor order fulfillment activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve complex customer, order, inventory, and service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and process effectiveness.
- Proactively identify, initiate, and lead process and system enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be adaptable to changing business needs.
- A team player with high level of dedication.
- Proactive and resourceful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a high attention to detail.
- Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for day-to-day activity in the workplace.
- May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.
