Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.

  • Contribute to developing, maintaining, deploying, and improving intellectual property, proprietary data, tools, and reusable assets for the business – including AI/GenAI-enabled assets where relevant – to support case teams, clients, and topic/sector priorities.
  • Assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools and GenAI platforms to improve insight generation, problem solving, workflow efficiency, and the creation or enhancement of reusable knowledge assets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consulting experience in relevant Information Services, data & analytics, enterprise software, B2B SaaS, technology-enabled business services, or adjacent sectors required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred, ideally in information services, data and analytics providers, market intelligence, financial/legal/risk/compliance information platforms, enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or other technology-enabled B2B businesses.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Demonstrated use of AI-enabled tools and GenAI platforms to improve productivity, insight generation, problem solving, workflow automation, and development or enhancement of knowledge assets is expected; interest in continuing to build AI fluency and applying these tools responsibly and effectively in day-to-day workflows is important.
  • Experience or interest in helping develop, deploy, and improve data assets, analytics tools, workflow tools, and reusable knowledge assets is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

  • Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in your area of expertise, such as pricing, go-to-market, M&A, corporate strategy, product and data strategy, innovation, operating model, and/or service and support in the Information Services, data & analytics, enterprise software, or B2B SaaS sectors.
  • Connecting insights across client case work, proposals, BCG IP, and third-party research/data across teams and geographies, ensuring case teams and clients benefit from the best and most current thinking.
  • Translating complex sector topics into clear, practical insights for case teams, topic/sector leaders, and client team members in a credible and confident way.
  • Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, and partnering across case teams, topic leaders, data/product teams, and asset owners; proficient in agile ways of working.
