About the Role

Maintain the entire facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest and maintain effective guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s), mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment.
• Verify completion of routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back-of-house spaces, and grounds.
• Verify completion of repairs, replacement, and renovation projects.
• Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy.
• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Actively train in fire prevention, environmental health and safety, and engineering systems.
• Attend meetings regarding hotel operations, including department, fire, safety, health, and quality improvement meetings.
• Attend morning walk-arounds as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facility.
• Perform special projects delegated by management.
• Stay updated on the latest developments pertinent to the department and the location.
