About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Process Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for machine setup, process monitoring, troubleshooting, mold changeovers, and optimizing production performance while maintaining safety and quality standards. We offer hands-on training, advancement opportunities, and a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee multiple molding machines based on production requirements
- Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, and process adjustments
- Complete mold changeovers efficiently and safely
- Monitor production processes and maintain process documentation
- Troubleshoot molding equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Perform routine machine inspections and daily equipment checks
- Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet operational goals
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and follow process sheets and work instructions
- Strong attendance record and commitment to workplace safety
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
- Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or plastics manufacturing
- Manufacturing, maintenance, machine operation, or technical trade experience
- Military or trade school background
- Experience performing machine setups and changeovers
