About the Role

The Housekeeping staff performs janitorial and maintenance tasks within the club house, offices, and locker rooms. This role also includes daily cleaning and maintenance of tennis courts, as well as outdoor grounds maintenance. It is a hands-on, full-time position with additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment.
• Perform janitorial work including washing/mopping floors, stairs, sidewalks, walls, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning glass and wood panels, sweeping, and waxing floors.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, shampoo, razors, deodorant, sanitary napkins, and slippers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the entrance lobby, hallways, floors, carpeting, furniture, door windows, sills, aerobics room mirrors, staircases, fitness rooms, and offices.
• Clean, dry, and fold towels.
• Continuously monitor the environment for safety hazards (trip hazards, leaks, exposed wiring, cracks) and report them to the MOD and GM.
• Wipe dust from exit signs, door hinges, emergency lights, and clocks.
• Refill water coolers on courts.
• Assist in keeping entrances and walkways clear of water and snow during inclement weather.
• Change light bulbs and batteries in automatic dispensers.
• Collect and dispose of trash bags from receptacles.
• Collect and store tennis balls and other court equipment.
• Assist in court maintenance, including sweeping and maintaining lines, when needed.
• Abide by SPORTIME policies and procedures.
• Uphold safety standards by wearing protective gear, identifying and correcting hazards, reporting faulty equipment, and ensuring MSDS are up-to-date and accessible.

Requirements

• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
• Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support the body repeatedly or continuously over time without fatiguing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Skills

• Knowledge of maintaining pickleball courts is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, construction, and mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of basic principles for providing customer service.

• $18.00 per hour
