About the Role
As a Driver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless event setups and deliveries, making every event a resounding success. Join our team of dedicated professionals and become a vital part of creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive our fleet of trucks, ranging from 3-ton to 5-ton trucks.
- Present a client-focused approach, engaging in effective discussions, and adeptly troubleshooting on-site issues.
- Act as a liaison between the Logistics Team and the client during on-site operations.
- Safely handle the loading and unloading of furniture and equipment from our trucks.
- Utilize floor plans and client instructions to skillfully install furniture at the event venue.
- Maintain the cleanliness of furniture and promptly address any spot-cleaning requirements.
- Deliver punctually and excel under tight deadlines.
- Support warehouse operations during slower periods, including assisting with inventory counts and performing general labour duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
- Hold a valid G driver’s license.
- Provide a clean driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days.
- Possess excellent physical capabilities, allowing you to lift or carry items up to 50lbs effortlessly.
- Own CSA approved steel toe shoes/boots.
