About the Role
Bridgepoint Consulting is seeking Accountants with strong cost accounting and inventory experience to support clients with interim and project-based accounting needs. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Partner with plant managers and operations teams to identify cost savings opportunities and improve manufacturing performance.
- Perform inventory accounting, including reconciliations, reserves, and valuation.
- Lead or support physical inventories and cycle count programs while investigating inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience with mid-size companies.
- Previous experience with manufacturing accounting, inventory management, and building and maintaining job costing models.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, with experience researching technical GAAP issues within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt to various client environments and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.

- Hands on experience with ERP systems such as: Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, SAP Business One, Oracle, Plex
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
- Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
