About the Role
Proud Moments ABA is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder. As a BT, you will deliver specialized 1-on-1 treatment in home-based settings, partnering with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to make a life-changing impact on families.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
- Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of treatment plans and report progress.
- Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
- Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
- Physically keep up with clients, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
- Perform any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience working with children preferred.
- Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
- Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
