About the Role

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Lunchables production team in Avon, NY. In this role, you will operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot processing and packaging equipment while ensuring products meet safety, quality, food safety, and production standards. The Machine Operator plays a critical role in maintaining efficient operations, product integrity, and compliance with Kraft Heinz manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, adjustments, and changeovers.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and take corrective action as needed.
Verify product quality, component placement, package integrity, product weights, and coding accuracy.
Complete production documentation, material verification, and downtime tracking.
Maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate equipment performance and operational issues with team members and leadership.
Train and assist employees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Follow all plant safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Become certified in Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Maintain certifications required for powered industrial equipment, scissor lifts, ladder use, and fall protection.
Complete required equipment inspections.
Wear and maintain required PPE.
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Support Kraft Heinz's safety-first culture.

Requirements

Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Ability to obtain required operational and safety certifications.

Starting Pay: $21.71 per hour
Second Shift Differential: $1.25 per hour
Third Shift Differential: $2.50 per hour
