Responsibilities
- Provide guest service by selling tickets, concessions, and working as an usher.
- Operate POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards accurately.
- Upsell and suggestively sell products and premium viewing experiences.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to guest inquiries professionally.
- Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment.
- Comply with all food safety laws and alcohol service regulations where applicable.
- Complete legally required state or local training for alcohol service.
- Tear tickets, direct patrons to auditoriums, and manage crowd control.
- Conduct in-theatre inspections for quality and safety.
- Report any problems or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in-auditorium concession sales.
- Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and other areas.
- Monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Handle emergency situations when called upon.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
- Comply with company dress code.
Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Weekday opening and/or closing availability is preferred.
- Must act as a representative of Regal consistent with mission statement and policies.
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
- Must complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University if applicable.
- Must be of legal age to sell or serve alcohol where applicable.
- Required to read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must be able to perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Must be able to identify problems, gather data, and evaluate information.
- Must be able to take action beyond what is necessarily called for and perform under pressure.
- Must possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Must be able to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, or hear.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May occasionally be required to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
