About the Role
The Branksome Hall business accelerator program (NOODLE) is seeking an Entrepreneurship Facilitator to work directly with students (grades 7 - 12). This role offers up to 8 hours per week, with flexible arrangements possible. The facilitator will guide student-led ventures, prepare them for competitions and events, and offer real-world insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the NOODLE entrepreneurship curriculum, working with students for up to 8 hours per week, outside of regular school hours through the 18-week program.
- Provide individualized mentorship and guidance to student start-ups, helping them prepare for competitions and business scaling.
- Provide in person consultations to support student ventures and ensure continued progress in their company.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff members to support the entrepreneurship experience for students.
- Help organize and support the NOODLE program's events, which includes a pitch competition with an opportunity to win additional funding to scale up and grow their company.
- Participate in the expansion of the NOODLE program to engage more students across the school.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an entrepreneur or business mentor, ideally with experience working with youth.
- Strong understanding of the entrepreneurial process, from ideation to market launch.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students while providing practical, hands-on guidance and mentorship with a variety of products.
- Effective supervisory, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide both group instruction and individualized support.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular school hours to support student needs.
