About the Role
This co-op position offers exposure to a broad range of HR functions, allowing you to work with experienced professionals, contribute to business initiatives, and develop practical skills.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding, employee communications, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain HR records, trackers, reports, organizational charts, and other HR documentation.
- Support employee training, development programs, HR projects, and other People & Talent initiatives.
- Perform other HR duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related post-secondary program.
- Eligible for a formal co-op placement through your school.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with good attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional and able to use discretion when handling information.
- Collaborative, positive, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
