About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain machinery used in our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) according to specifications
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine operations and inspect finished products for defects or irregularities
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance and report malfunctions
- Record production data and complete required documentation
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role preferred
- Familiarity with production tools and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or manuals (if applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physical stamina and strength; able to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
