About the Role
Exxpress Tire is seeking Delivery Drivers to safely and timely transport goods to customers throughout the Greater Buffalo Area. Drivers will ensure merchandise accuracy, collect payments, and collaborate with dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading merchandise
- Performing basic truck safety checklists
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Obtaining proper signatures upon transfer of goods
- Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order's accuracy
- Collecting and verifying proper payment for delivered goods
- Communicating with dispatch regularly
- Maintaining a clean driving record
- Maintaining a valid NY Driver's License
- Performing miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned
- Driving safely and considerately
- Pulling product to fill orders
- Notifying supervisor immediately of any license suspensions, expirations, or new driving violations
- Ability to work rotating Saturdays
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- A clean valid NY State Driver’s License
- 3 years of licensed driving experience
- Good customer service skills
- Strong work ethic
- Professional appearance
- Forklift and Picker experience is a plus
