About the Role

As a Senior Analytics Implementation Specialist, you will translate client business and marketing requirements for digital measurement into sophisticated guides for IT and development teams to implement enterprise-wide digital analytics and tag management solutions. This involves consulting with stakeholders, guiding implementation recommendations, performing quality assurance, and providing training and ongoing services.

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technology developments.
  • Perform client-facing tasks such as presenting insights or providing training.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to foster data-driven strategy and execution.
  • Deploy web and app measurement tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Provide support on analytics and implementation for Napkyn analysts with root-cause analysis of issues and interruptions in measurement for our clients.
  • Provide recommendations on adoption of new tools and features as appropriate to client needs.
  • Serve as a resource for the latest trends and technologies within the digital analytics space.
  • Assist in improving the usability, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of our clients’ digital analytics tooling deployments.
  • Assist in evaluating the size and scope of customer problems as well as helping to determine a successful resolution.
  • Lead the team with site-wide audits of existing analytics implementations against web and app measurement best practices and create implementation recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop app and web measurement best practices and on-site technology requirements to generate high quality, easily-understood implementation guides for on-site deployments of Google Analytics.
  • Engage business and technical team stakeholders for feedback and validation.
  • Actively focus on the future-proofing, scalability, and ease of maintenance in all solutions.
  • Provide recommendations on adoption of new tools and features as appropriate to the client’s needs.
  • Participate in user testing with the internal team to ensure that components meet requirements for functionality and ease of use.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of automation capabilities within the digital analytics platforms, tag managers and related software employed by the Data Solutions team.
  • Identify and contribute to the design of new internal tools and capabilities on the product roadmap, representing the Data Solutions team.
  • Develop an understanding of the deployment infrastructure behind Napkyn’s toolchain and contribute to its ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proficient in reading and writing JavaScript, in the context of both analytics deployments and web-based user interfaces.
  • A strong understanding of web technologies, in general.
  • Experience with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Adobe Launch, etc.
  • Experience with server-side tag management.
  • Experience with ecommerce implementation for Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes in digital analytics and app development.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with developers internally and in client organizations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Team player, supportive of a collaborative team environment and culture.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort with or interest in presenting and speaking in front of small groups, most importantly in client meetings.
