About the Role

As an Operational Excellence & Lean Manager, you will analyze locations, identify optimization potential, and drive the implementation of improvements in the daily operations of our dental laboratories. The focus is on enhancing processes, efficiency, and quality across the entire value chain to measurably improve laboratory performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site excellence assessments across over 30 laboratory locations nationwide to gain a data-based understanding of operational performance.
  • Analyze end-to-end processes to evaluate efficiency, quality, utilization, and digitalization levels.
  • Identify deviations from best practices and highlight optimization opportunities.
  • Translate findings into concrete actions and implement them hands-on with the teams in ongoing operations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of uniform standards, processes, and playbooks for laboratory locations.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on data, track progress consistently, and ensure sustainable impact.
  • Develop and empower laboratory managers to independently manage and continuously improve performance.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in dental technology and a deep understanding of processes, workflows, and interdependencies within a dental laboratory are highly advantageous.
  • Experience in analyzing and improving operational processes, ideally within Lean Management or Operational Excellence.
  • Structured and analytical approach combined with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into clear actions.
  • High implementation strength and a pragmatic, solution-oriented work style with a clear focus on impact.
  • Confident communication with diverse stakeholders and effective collaboration with teams at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Germany.
