Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality educational services, including professional development and parent workshops focused on reading, mathematics, and other relevant topics for K-8 students.
- Collaborate with program managers, school personnel, and teachers.
- Edit and deliver existing workshop content, and develop new content based on current educational trends, research, and policy.
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to deliver workshops to teachers and parents.
- Present effectively to small and large groups, fostering participation and directing activities.
- Engage audiences enthusiastically, listen actively, and think critically.
Requirements
- Presentation experience required.
- Active and valid teaching certificate required.
- Experience in providing professional development and coaching.
- Experience working with Title I students is a plus.
- Flexibility with workshop scheduling, location, and delivery methods (webinars, coaching, workshops).
- Computer proficiency required.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Ability to navigate school buildings, including stairs.
- Ability to stand frequently and raise arms above the head.
- Hand dexterity for typing and data entry.
