About the Role

The Retail Sales Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining the appearance of Cedar Soul, and fostering a positive atmosphere while interacting with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greet guests, using their names when possible.
• Answer phones courteously and professionally.
• Process merchandise sales using the Micros POS system.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the hotel and available guest offerings.
• Assist with the presentation of the Falls City Market.
• Efficiently price, display, and store new merchandise.
• Support the Retail Manager with inventory counts.
• Maintain and balance the daily cash register.
• Exhibit appropriate conduct at all times, adhering to Omni Hotels standards.
• Provide professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as needed.
• Assist with the presentation of the gift shop.
• Respond to reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Assist in other departments as required.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Knowledge of the property and surrounding area.
