About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup of banquet rooms and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged, and that audiovisual equipment and lighting are set up and operational.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their assigned tables, and provide assistance with seating as needed.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, using suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades.
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Anticipate guests' needs and preferences and provide personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, and resolve any issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, and replenish supplies as needed throughout the event to ensure a clean and orderly dining environment.
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks, including removing linens, folding chairs, and dismantling decorations.
- Complete post-event cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in banquet areas.

- Must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law.
