About the Role
This entry-level Accountant I position assists accounting staff with technical aspects of compliance and production work. The role involves office-based tasks and travel to project job sites to meet with project teams and subcontractors. Responsibilities
- Assists with pay applications
- Tracks and reviews receivables
- Reviews and processes accounts payable
- Ensures overall compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Provides accounting support for on-site project management teams
- Assists with payroll functions, including adjustments and closings
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate effectively, listens to understand, and can clearly convey information in all forms based on the audience to ensure shared meaning of the message
