About the Role
Seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Product Development Coordinator to directly support product development processes, coordinate samples, and contribute to the conceptualization and realization of new products. This role requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of product development from inception to market introduction.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the successful development and launch of high-quality products that meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Support the head of PD, Manager.
- Communicate development information and updates to overseas partners.
- Monitor the status of each style from proto to line sample to cc sample stage, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and clear information on seasonal products in A2000, PLM, and Style Tracker.
- Establish effective working relationships with senior management, team, and peers.
- Remain engaged and open to learn and grow in this position and beyond.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills.
- Multi-task throughout the development season and prioritize to meet calendar deadlines.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency to complete independent tasks and contribute to team projects.
- Be flexible and adjust to the needs of the business.
- Support internal and external teams and collaborate on overall brand and product direction.
- Adapt to the needs of the team to ensure the development process runs smoothly and effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in the footwear/fashion space.
- Formal degree in Fashion/Design.
- Very high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Excel/A2000 is a must.
- Highly organized.
- Basic understanding of footwear materials, fit, and construction across categories.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, positive, adaptable, and dependable attitude.
- A team player who contributes positively to team dynamic, cultivates passion and productivity.
