About the Role
As an Event Support Specialist (Ticketing), you will support Ticketmaster clients with their event management needs, including building and updating events in Microflex and assisting clients who self-program events using Ticketmaster’s product suite. This role involves accurate data entry, verification, and ensuring adherence to procedural best practices and established standards within Ticketmaster ticketing systems.
Responsibilities
- Program events with accuracy according to best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Accurately input event data into Ticketmaster Ticketing Systems and resolve event-related errors.
- Perform QA on event configurations to confirm they meet quality levels.
- Meet and exceed Event Management service level agreements.
- Accurately inform Salesforce about event management information throughout the Event Life-cycle stages.
- Collaborate with clients, promoters, and internal departments (marketing, finance, fan experience, fulfillment, client support) during event creation and information distribution.
- Support clients on the usage of Ticketmaster products related to Event Management processes, including nxMenu 3.03, TM1 Events, and TM1 Reports.
- Configure events to enable satellite products like TM1 Access, TM1 Flex, and TM1 Amplify.
- Submit seatmap requests to the Hub and quality review delivered seatmaps.
- Work closely with Client Support Specialists (CSS) to enhance client service.
- Facilitate event configuration information with Fan Experience teams to address customer questions or claims.
- Build and cultivate excellent client and interdepartmental relationships.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by Senior Event Specialists and the Event Support Manager.
- Receive continuous training on new products and features and their operation.
Requirements
- High level of computer affinity with excellent and fast data entry skills.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft product suite.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, prioritize new tasks, and reschedule existing assignments.
- Service-oriented with a focus on accuracy, structure, organization, and consistent quality service.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients in local and regional markets (German and English skills required).
- Rigorous adherence to standard operational procedures and attention to detail.
- Possess a certain degree of creativity, latitude, problem-solving ability, and a proactive mindset.
- Previous Event Management or Box Office experience is a plus.
- Overall awareness of the entertainment and sports business is important.
- Knowledge of how TM departments impact each other and outside clients is a plus.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
