About the Role
This is a center-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role serving children with autism (ages 2-7) with a focus on early intervention, social development, and school readiness within a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech therapy services with clients aged 2-7 y/o
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals and needs
- Help clients improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate client care
- Educate families on strategies for managing conditions
Requirements
- New York State Speech and Language Pathology License
- Experience working with children, comfortable with 2-7 y/os
- Experience with developmental disorders and delays
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Fluent in English
- Must be able to sit and stand on the floor; remain at eye level with clients
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time
