About the Role
Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Driver with a valid AZ license to provide excellent customer service and complete pick-up and delivery services for clients throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize freight at client sites or company facilities.
- Operate a tractor trailer or other fleet vehicles as needed.
- Maintain trip sheets, freight documents, manifests, and BOLs.
- Adhere to health and safety, DOT, and traffic regulations.
- Ensure freight is secured according to company protocol.
- Ensure timely and damage-free cargo delivery and/or pickups.
- Communicate freight status with clients and dispatch.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
Requirements
- Valid Class AZ license.
- Knowledge of GTA towns and Vaughan streets.
- Minimum four years of commercial driving experience.
- Current and clean 3-year driver's record.
- CVOR Drivers Abstract.
- Recent Letter of Experience from insurance company.
- Must complete a criminal background check.
- Able to safely lift/transport up to 75lbs without assistance.
- Capable of using equipment such as dollies, jacks, and straps.
- Experience using log books/trip sheets, pre-trip & post-trip inspection reports, and other freight documents.
- Experience using technology for dispatch communication and travel (e.g., smartphone, GPS).
- Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail skills.
- Able to read, write, and clearly communicate in English.
- Must be 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
